Jared Allan began as a solo project in Charlotte, North Carolina, and surrounding communities escalated into a Two-, Three-, Four-, and sometimes five-man band at times. Priding themselves on original music, they now have fans and supporters all over the city singing along to any number of their more than 30 original songs. In the last few years Jared Allan and his group have made their mark in the Charlotte area. They play 5-9 shows per week, ranging from small wine gatherings to notable outdoor events. You can hear their Music and see their shows from Jersey to Georgia and the Mississippi to the Atlantic, but home is always the greater Charlotte North Carolina area.

 

Jared Allan creates his own genre, combining influences of folk, bluegrass, rock, and R & B into one energetic flow. This talented singer/songwriter on acoustic guitar, sometimes plays Rock, sometimes folk and sometimes a little of everything! With harmonica, guitar and vocals he sometimes teams up with another classically-trained percussionist of unmatched experience, the energy of a skilled conga/bongo/African drum player, with the occasional piano, lead and/or bassist to add to the mix and you have got the eclectic blend that is Jared Allan & Co. With each song’s powerful back-beat, explosive tempo-changes, and soulful lyrics, you will be singing along and tapping your feet for days.
